FP Day 6, Drive thru Montana and South Dakota

I woke up this morning to see that we were getting the oil changed in the RV.. fun.

We asked the mechanic to tell us what it looked like under the front of the camper, where we ran over Bambi..

"It looks like a John Carpenter film under there."

He went on to tell us there was a good amount of blood and guts on the undercarriage.. yum.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned that we should have brought it with us and made some deer jerky. (Very tasty, btw)

Apparently we are heading through South Dakota today.. and through Sturgis.. woo!

We pull over in Sturgis, of course, because Taime <3's>

Then it's off to lunch with Chad, Tommy and Taime.. We take a short walk over the the Knuckle Saloon.. apparently one of the more popular places in Sturgis, especially during the bike run.

This place is overwhelming, with bicycles and signs and who knows what else hanging from the ceiling.. BUT RAD!!

I go for a 16 oz PBR.. cause it just wouldn't be right to not have a beer with lunch! I also had their equivalent of the Super Bird.. a turkey bacon melt! SO DELICIOUS.. little did I know I could have had my fries smothered in melty cheese like Thomas did.. dammit!

So we walk back down the main street to the RV, and take off.. towards Minnesota.

Hours later, we arrive in.. uhmm.. some other city in South Dakota, closer to Minnesota. We decide it's time for a nightcap and some Karaoke.. !! with a live band!! @ The Thirsty Duck.. where the bartender was a sweetheart!

I let the band know JUST WHO is going to sing some songs, and they offer up instruments for them to play.. but they decide to take the stage and just sing. Chad goes for Purple Rain, and just kills it! Thomas sings.. kinda.. La Bomba..I decide to help him.. how embarassing!

Danny tries to sing Sweet Caroline and gives up part way thru, so the rest of us take over.. wow.. what a night!
Next up Xhristian and I hit a Fry'n Pan for some late breakfast. After listening to a couple discuss having kids and some deep life stuff.. we head back to the RV.. and finally sleep...
