Day 12, Late Night, Somewhere in Virginia..

Sooooo apparently I fell asleep curled up kinda next to Ace, with my head the wrong way.. kinda towards the side of the rv, but also towards the front. One of the first rules of the bus, and I managed to end up curled up that way.
Now, it's only a problem to be arranged this way when your bus ends up coming to a very quick stop...

So, btw, if you ever end up in Virginia, and are trying to exit Colonial, GO REALLY FUCKING SLOW!!!!!

The way this exit is situated, your lane suddenly ends and you end up in a super sharp turn, with no warning.. no signs, just two little reflectors..

I don't know if you know this, but your body has a response to g-forces, automatically, when you are sleeping. You wake the fuck up. QUICKLY. Check out videos on youtube of people pushing sleeping friends over, it's usually quite hilarious.

Not in this scenario. I woke up quickly enough to sit up and not get hurt.. but those who were just relaxing drinkin a beer, or playing on their computer... went FLYING into the front of the RV.
The Budweiser quite literally went FLYING into the windshield.. I witnessed both that beer, which came from back by the kitchen sink, (about 10 feet back or so, at least) and Danny and Ace flying forward.. For a moment, I couldn't see Ace.. as
he was buried beneath Danny on the floor near the door.
Said beer doused both Chad and Thomas, and the cab of the RV..
I'm not quite sure what happened to Xristian who was in the back toy hauler area with the gear..

We're all ok, and in one piece.. kinda. Well, maybe a couple bruises and frazzled nerves.. but we're ok.

Apparently it's just a fucked up exit, with no warning on the impending doom of the sharp right.

Fortunately, we were able to stop, whereas we quite possibly could have gone offroading, or rolling over, had things happened differently.

But I sure am awake now!!!

Every tour there has been something to scare the crap out of me - last tour was when we went so far over the wake-up-bumps that the driver jerked back onto the road, nearly throwing Duncan out of his bunk, and throwing my laptop right out of my top bunk.. fortunately I was drunk that night and decided I should sleep in the bottom bunk instead.. probably saving me from falling from the 3rd bunk up onto the floor.

Btw, I don't like rollercoasters. I feel the same way as when I first got off of Tower of Terror.. slightly dizzy and kinda wired.. not a fan.
I'm going back to sleep now. Or, going to try to..
