LA GUNS at Hotel Cafe, Acoustic Gypsy Show #2

Day two.. oh boy.

I wake up with a nice hangover, still at my friend's house, on the couch. My knuckles are sore.

After a nice day of doing really nothing, just watching some bad reality tv.. it's time to get ready. Joe picks me up at Lesli's, and I hurry home to get ready.

Then, I hurry up to get to LA..

We arrive at Hotel Cafe, around 6. $15 dollars to park, boy does Hollywood SUCK.

We walk in and the boys are soundchecking.. it's an interesting show, with a few guys sitting in, including Muddy.. oh boy. Muddy loves me!

They sound amazing, and play a few rad songs.. very chill, I get to sit and relax and enjoy the pre-show.

Jizzy does his stretchy silly singy warm up, as always.. pretty hilarious to watch! We chat with his girlfriend and Liza for quite a while..

Nothing too crazy today, except the fact that AVJ and Ricky Fuckin Vodka are coming!! Got a great hug from Ricky Vodka, chat about the upcoming Motochrist video shoot (that yours truly will be in!!) Oh, and AVJ showed up with a pretty lady friend in tow.

The door guy kinda stole my merch perch, so I spent most of the night watching the show.


My favorite line? Jizzy - between songs - says "I'm gettin Jizzy with it!"

It's a quick show, we wrap up pretty quickly and head home.. which, for the boys is 5 minutes away!

I'm awfully tired after last night, so I decide to forego the partying afterwards and make the trek home..

Oh, and my bff Gabriel will be in town working the Lords of Acid show, so I'll post about that too!!
